Sociology

I have been an undergraduate seminar tutor as a member of staff in the Department of Sociology, University of Essex in the courses 'Youth Cultures' and 'Media, Culture and Society', and a dissertation supervisor. In 2009-2010 I both lectured in and provided seminar tuition for the course 'New Media and Contemporary Cultural Change', including marking coursework essays and exams. I have taught three PhD students in the Department of Sociology at Essex. I obtained a broad sociolological knowledge from my specialism at undergraduate and PhD level in Social and Cultural Geography. Social and Cultural Geography is very close in subject matter to Sociology.

I am currently the lecturer/ tutor for 'Sociology and the Modern World', 'Core Dichotomies in Sociology', 'Gender in Modern Society' and 'Applied Studies' at University Campus Suffolk.
